Ide Gymnastics participates in three competitions

IDE Gymnastics participated in an AAU Winter Wonderland Trampoline and Tumbling competition in Cedar Rapids on Friday, Feb. 17 with 17 athletes and returned with 19 first place finishes and a plethora of hardware.
Receiving first place was Brayden Peck with a “Hat Trick” in Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline; Ashlynn Adrian in Double Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling; Brooklyn Ledger in Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline; Bristol Sobaski in Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline; Kamryn Tharp in Power Tumbling and Single Mini Trampoline; and Reagan Wise in Trampoline and Power Tumbling. Randi Ellis and Kinley Adam both received first in Double Mini Trampoline; and Renleigh Forrett, Ashley Lyons, Nadia Royer and Dawson Wiggins each received first in Trampoline.
Avery Ledger brought back second place in both Trampoline and Power Tumbling. Kaitlyn Jensen, Kayona Krochak and Myka Wallace each got second in Trampoline; and Madilyn McCarty placed second in Double Mini Trampoline, and so much more.
IDE Gymnastics attended the USTA Winter Wonderland Trampoline and Tumbling competition in Cedar Rapids on Sunday, Feb. 19 with five athletes.
Ashlynn Adrian came home with first place in Advanced level Trampoline and in Advanced level in Double Mini Trampoline, and fourth in Novice level in Power Tumbling.
Kaitlyn Jensen returned with a second place in Intermediate level Double Mini Trampoline and a third-place finish in Intermediate level Trampoline.
Riley Lathrop placed first in Intermediate level Trampoline, second in the Sub-Novice level in Power Tumbling, and third in Sub-Advanced level in Double Mini Trampoline.
Ashley Lyons placed first in Intermediate level Trampoline and fourth in Sub-Advanced level in Double Mini Trampoline.
And lastly, Kamryn Tharp placed second in Novice level in Trampoline, second in Double Mini Trampoline Novice level, and fourth in Power Tumbling in the Advanced Beginner level.
IDE Gymnastics performed in the Calling All Super Heroes AAU Trampoline and Tumbling competition on Saturday, Feb. 25 in Ottumwa. IDE Gymnastics had 36 athletes competing in this event, coming home with 31 first place finishes.
Riley Lathrop received first place in all of the events: Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline, Single Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling culminating in four first places. Ashlynn Adrian and Elisha Vander Linden were next with three first place finishes each in Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling. Kayona Krochak and Jacob Wallace both placed first in Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline; Renleigh Forrett placed first in both Trampoline and Power Tumbling; Avery Ledger was first in both Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline; and Dawson Wiggins placed first in both Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline.
Placing first in Trampoline alone were Eli Benson, Randi Ellis, Audrey Robinson, Nadia Royer, and Skylar Smith. Finishing first in Single Mini Trampoline alone were Brooklyn Ledger, Madilyn McCarty, and Bristol Sobaski. Those that placed first in Tumbling alone were Kamryn Tharp and Reagan Wise. Kaylee Wright placed first in Double Mini Trampoline.
Skylar Smith and Riley Lathrop received second place in Synchronization Trampoline. Other second place finishes included Kinley Adam and Charley Metcalf in Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline; Addison Flores in Power Tumbling; Kaitlyn Jensen in Trampoline; Brayden Peck in Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline; Brielynn Tucker in Single Mini Trampoline; and Madilynn Wallace in both Power Tumbling and Single Mini Trampoline.
Kiley Metcalf and Aurora Rodriguez both placed third in Trampoline. Lakelea Evans received third in Power Tumbling, and Adalyn Williams was third in Single Mini Trampoline.
Eliana Ferdig and Leah Lathrop both received fourth in Double Mini Trampoline. Harper Clubb placed fifth in three events, Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline; and Myka Wallace placed fifth in Trampoline. Vada Curran placed seventh in Trampoline, Power Tumbling, and Single Mini Trampoline; and Elivia Ferdig was seventh in Single Mini Trampoline.
The highlights of the meet were two perfect 10 scores by both Dawson Wiggins and Bristol Sobaski. What a busy day — Look for Ide Gymnastics again in April for AAU State where they’ll do it all again for more gold.

Elivia Ferdig finished seventh in Single Mini Trampoline at the competition held in Ottumwa.
