IHCC Theatre announces award winners

Indian Hills Community College Theatre announced the 2023-2024 award winners at the Cake on an Empty Stage Celebration following the performance of Greater Tuna on Saturday, April 28.

The fall 2023 production of They Promised Her The Moon by Laurel Ollstein award winner for Best Performance was Grace Haring of Cambria for her performance of lead role Jerrie Cobb. Best Supporting Actors for the performance were Theo Wilcox of Sigourney and Samantha Zuel of Chariton.

The spring 2024 production of Greater Tuna by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard award for Best Performance was Diego Solorio of Irvine, CA for his performance of lead role Arles Struvie. Best Supporting Actors for the performance were TJ Lada of Marshalltown and Ashlynn Hamilton of Centerville.

The 2023-2024 Best Technical Support awards went to Sophia Stiles of Albia and Avery Tallman of Glenwood, MO for their work in sound and backstage support respectively.
