IHCC to host Dallas Clark on Celebrity Night

OTTUMWA — The Indian Hills Community College Foundation is excited to announce the 41st Annual Celebrity Night, sponsored by Winger Companies, featuring Iowa Hawkeye and NFL great Dallas Clark.

Scheduled for Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Indian Hills Dining Hall, the event will feature a reception followed by a prime rib and seafood dinner, remarks by Clark and an auction featuring autographed Iowa Hawkeye memorabilia and works from local artists.

Hailing from Livermore, Iowa, Clark starred at Twin River Valley High School before walking on at the University of Iowa in Head Coach Kirk Ferentz’s first season. During his collegiate career, Clark demonstrated a rare combination of speed, agility, and reliable hands, earning him recognition as one of the most dynamic players in college football. His contributions to the Hawkeyes' offense were instrumental, leading to All-Big Ten, and unanimous First Team All-American honors, as well as the prestigious John Mackey Award, bestowed upon the nation's top collegiate tight end. Clark's time at Iowa not only solidified his reputation as a formidable force on the gridiron but also served as a launchpad for his successful 11-year journey in the NFL, where he would go on to achieve even greater acclaim as an All-Pro tight end, and Super Bowl Champion with the Indianapolis Colts. Clark would finish his playing career with one-year stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Baltimore Ravens before signing a one-day contract to retire as a member of the Colts.

Individual tickets for this event are priced at $85 each, while reserved tables of 8 are available for $750. All proceeds will directly benefit student scholarships at Indian Hills Community College.
