Indian Hills Holiday Concert: Jingles and Jazz next Thursday

Enjoy an evening of festive Christmas music by the Indian Hills Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, the Indian Hills Jazz Band, and IHCC music faculty at the Indian Hills Holiday Concert: Jingles and Jazz on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. in the Rural Health Education Center.

The choirs will perform a variety of jazz-inspired tunes including Swingin’ With Santa, Believe from Polar Express, Christmas Time is Here, and ‘Zat You, Santa Claus? The Indian Hills Jazz Band will feature an original shuffle-blues arrangement of Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.

A highlight of each year’s holiday concert is a combined piece by the choir and jazz band members. This year, David Sharp has arranged two selections: Swingin’ At Santa’s Place and Jingle Bell Rock.
