Iowa Birds of Prey to visit Richland Public Library

Mark your calendars to be at the Richland Public Library Tuesday, June 7 from 3:00 to 4 p.m. The library will be presenting an educational program featuring live birds of prey through the Iowa City-based Iowa Raptor Project (formerly the Macbride Raptor Project). The IRP will bring up to four raptors which may include vultures, eagles, hawks and/or owls. There will be time for the audience to ask questions about the birds.
Kids in kindergarten through eighth grade are invited to attend this free program. Preschool children must be accompanied by a caregiver. For more information please contact the library at 319-456-6541 or richlib@natel.net.
