ISU Economist Chad Hart to be featured speaker Feb. 3 in Washington

Local crop producers are invited to attend a grain marketing, crop insurance and farm bill informational meeting on Monday, Feb. 3, featuring Iowa State University Economist, Dr. Chad Hart. The meeting will be held at the Washington County Fairgrounds in the basement of Dallmeyer Hall.

Dr. Hart will share his thoughts about the commodity market direction. Crop insurance updates will also be provided as well as information on the farm bill.

A light meal, soup and homemade pie, will be served from 5 p.m. — 6 p.m. with the meeting beginning at 6 p.m. The meeting is sponsored by Washington County Extension and Fulton Crop Insurance Solutions. There is no charge to attend. Please RSVP by calling 319-461-6260.
