Keokuk Co. 4-H Senior Spotlight, Kylee Reed

Kylee Reed is the daughter of Ryan and Lana Reed of Ottumwa, and has two brothers Conner and Colt. Kylee is a nine-year active 4-H member in the Patriotic Panthers Club where she has served as the Vice-President, Secretary, and Parliamentarian. As a 4-Her, Kylee has participated in projects to include beef, swine, photography, woodworking, and horticulture. Her favorite memory in 4-H is when she won Grand Champion Breeding Heifer at the Best of the Best Show in 2019.

Outside of school and 4-H, you can find Kylee working cattle, working on her family’s farm, interning at the Keota Vet Clinic, babysitting, baking, or being with her friends and family. While in school, Kylee has been active in participating in basketball, volleyball, track, Sigourney FFA, Agri-Power FFA, Iowa Junior Angus Association, Minihereford Association, Key Club, Student Council, County Council, National Honors Society

Vacation she has taken: Denver, Colorado showing cattle

Next fall, Kylee plans to attend Iowa State University to become a veterinarian. We look forward to watching Kylee grow as a senior 4-Her and seeing where her path takes her!
