KEOKUK COUNTY — Keokuk County 4-H is excited to announce that enrollment for the 2025—2026 program year is officially open. Youth in grades K — 12 can now join Clover Kids or 4-H Clubs across the county and begin a year filled with opportunities for learning, leadership, and fun.
4-H is Iowa’s largest youth development program, providing hands-on experiences that help young people build leadership skills, explore interests, and give back to their communities. Members participate in a wide range of activities including science, agriculture, citizenship, communication, healthy living, and more — all while making new friends and developing lifelong skills.
A common misconception is that 4-H is only for farm kids or those who show livestock — but 4-H is truly for everyone. Whether youth are interested in art, photography, robotics, cooking, writing, animals, or community service, there’s a place for them in 4-H. Members are encouraged to explore their unique passions and discover new skills, all in a supportive and fun environment.
Clover Kids is designed specifically for youth in kindergarten through third grade, offering age-appropriate activities that introduce them to the world of 4-H in a fun and engaging way. Youth in fourth through twelfth grade can join 4-H clubs, where they take part in community service projects, county events, the Keokuk County Expo, and even opportunities at the state and national level.
To enroll, families can visit 4-H Online at https://v2.4honline.com. A full club directory, along with additional information about 4-H in Keokuk County, can be found at https://www.extension.iastate.edu/keokuk/join-4-h.

“Each year, we’re excited to see new and returning members join our program,” said Ashley Yedlik, Keokuk County Youth Coordinator. “4-H provides countless opportunities for youth to explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and create memories that last a lifetime.”
