Keokuk County 4-H youth tell their 4-H story through poster exhibit

Keokuk County 4-H members participated in a 4-H Poster Communications Workshop on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Keokuk County Extension provided supplies for youth to design and create a poster to exhibit at the 2023 Keokuk County Expo. Youth learned about the Poster Communication class, brainstormed ideas for their individual posters, learned about art principles and design elements, copyright, and received guidance on completing the Poster Exhibit Entry Form. “This was a great opportunity that encouraged young people to share their 4-H story and gave them the time, space, and supplies to create a project that they will exhibit at the Keokuk County Expo. These posters will also be displayed throughout the year in various locations in the community to promote the 4-H program,” said Joselyn Abell, 4-H County Youth Coordinator.
