May. 4, 2023 4:42 pm
Pekin senior Kyler Dickey is in the spotlight this week. He is the son of Adrian Dickey and Shawna Husted. He has one sister, Korynn.
While in school, Kyler has been involved in FBLA marketer, track, and film club. He has also worked as a shop hand at Dickey Transport and is a multi-sports videographer.
What’s your favorite school memory or what will you remember the most? Mrs. Jacobs class.
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? Try to meet even more people.
Finish this sentence: “I could not live without…” My phone, because it’s tied to my job.
What’s the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? Best thing is being independent, worst thing is also being independent.
Which teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on you and why? Mrs. Jacobs. Way too many reasons to talk about but she changed me as a human being.
What is your advice to incoming high school freshmen? SERIOUSLY, DON’T LISTEN TO WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK.
What are your plans after graduation? Attend University of Iowa to major in cinema or marketing while I work as a creative videographer for Iowa football, basketball, and track.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? To make it.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? Somewhere peaceful and has cool stuff to do.
Who has been your biggest influence in your life and why? Again, Mrs. Jacobs.
