Let The Games Begin … at the Washington County Fair Kids Day July 17

Come and enjoy Kids Day at the 2024 Washington County Fair on Wednesday, July 17. This fun event is hosted by Washington County Extension and Outreach and with fair day sponsor Washington County Hospitals & Clinics. Other partnership sponsors include Farm Bureau Financial Services- Ann C. Williams Agency, Washington Lions Club, Washington County Public Health, Family Connection and Horse & Pony 4-H Club.

The morning will kick off at 9:30 a.m. with a variety of hands-on activities all over the fairgrounds. All kids, aged preschool through fifth grade, are welcome to come, learn, and have fun! Participants may come and go to the following activity stations anytime throughout the morning until 11 a.m.:

· Popcorn is provided, courtesy of the Washington Lions Club.

· Join the Horse and Pony Club for games at the Horse Barn! Pony rides are also available and sponsored by Farm Bureau Financial Services — Ann C. Williams Agency.

· Build first aid kits, shoot hoops, and work through emergency preparedness matching with Washington County Hospital and Clinics staff

Other kids activities throughout the day include:

Visit the historic round barn from 9:30 a.m. — 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. — 7 p.m. for hands-on agriculture learning through Little Hands on the Farm hosted by Ag in the Classroom.

Visit 4-H Hall for science activities from the 4-H Robotics team Eaglebots
