Library program featured paper airplanes
Matt Guise, Pekin's middle school and high school art teacher, led a
program called "Take Flight with Mr. Guise" on July 18 at the Richland
Public Library. Kids made paper airplanes along with an airplane
launcher which was made with card stock, a rubber band and colorful
markers. After the planes and launchers were completed, everyone went
across the street to Central Park to try them out. While some planes
took flight, others didn't, but they were all beautiful works
of art!
