Livestock judging contests going on
Members of Pekin FFA have been competing in Livestock Judging Contests this summer.
Lilian Buie, Zach Doud, Kenadie Long, and Hailey Pedrick competed in the Iowa County Fair’s Livestock Judging Contest in Marengo earlier this month. Their results were: fifth overall team, second in swine, fourth beef, fifth in sheep/goats, and Hailey was fourth high individual.
Last week, the team competed in the Washington County Fair’s Livestock Judging contest, where they placed fourth overall highlighted with Lilian finishing sixth overall in individual.
