Memorial Day Service to be held in Richland
The Richland Community Club and American Legion Post #504 will be sponsoring a Memorial Day Service on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2022 on the square in Richland at 1 0:00 a.m.
Scheduled to speak is Zackerie Wise, a 2022 Pekin graduate and current member of the Iowa Army National Guard. Wise is a highly respected and articulate soldier that brings a fresh perspective on serving in our military.
The Pekin Chorus, under the direction of Mr. Derrick White, will be performing several military selections and close out the program with Taps.
All are welcome to attend. Please bring a lawn chair.
