Everyone in the Richland community interested in the building of a new school house is invited to attend a meeting called for next Monday night at the Opera House. The meeting is called for the purpose of putting fairly before the people the proposition of building a new schoolhouse in the Richland Independent School District. An election has been called for March 25 to vote on the issuing of $53,000 for that purpose. The meeting is called, not for the purpose of arousing a bitter feeling between those who do not look at the question in the same light, but for the purpose of explaining the question more thoroughly and bring before the voters the needs of a better building and the cost to the taxpayers. We are informed that plans for the new building, which have been drawn up by a competent architect, will be on exhibit at the meeting for all to see. The architect himself will also be present to explain all questions and details of same.
