Bound to grand jury for Packwood break in: Paul R. Green and his wife, Anna, residents of Packwood, were bound over to the Jefferson County grand jury on charges of breaking and entering after a hearing conducted in justice of the peace court. Their bond was fixed at $2500 each. Since neither had produced bond this morning, they are still being held in the Jefferson County jail. The defendants are accused of breaking into the Dale Davis home at Packwood and taking $500 in cash. There was no one home when the break in and robbery took place. The vandals pulled out a hook on a screen door to gain entrance. When the Davis family arrived home late in the afternoon, Jefferson County officers were notified and a search began. The investigation pointed toward the Greens, who reside next door to the Davis home. They were traced and found to be in Burlington. Police were notified there and took them into custody for Jefferson County officers. Green, a disabled war veteran, was in business at Packwood as a barber.
