1994
•Dana Lynn Bozarth and Gary Todd Williams were united in marriage on Nov. 27, 1993.
•Webelos Den 4 and 5 attended the Klondike Derby at Camp Eastman in Nauvoo, Illinois on Jan. 22.
•One thousand Crooked Creek buttons have been ordered for the first annual Crooked Creek Days to be held Aug. 13 in Winfield.
1999
•Grace Whaley Fricke, age 82, died Feb. 12, 1999 at Scottsdale, Arizona.
•Everet Lloyd Raushenberger, age 86, died Feb. 16 at the Burlington Medical Center.
•Feb. 21 will be Heritage Sunday at the United Methodist Church of Winfield at the church celebrates its 150th birthday.
2004
•Bill Davis was injured in Jan. 29 when his coat was entangled in a metal shearer machine. He was transported to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, where he has undergone several surgeries to try to save his arm.
•Lenore R. Owens, age 87, died Jan. 28, 2004 at Grandview Terrace in Davenport.
•People’s State Bank held an Open House on Jan. 29.
2009
•Laura Ann Woodrow, daughter of Marie Woodrow and the late John Woodrow, and Eric Jeffery Rawson, son of Judy Rawson and Gary Rawson have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.
•Misty McCreight and Cole Kellogg, both of Winfield, have announced their engagement.
•Darin Fricke has been named Two Rivers Bank and Trust — Southeast Iowa Employee of the Month for February.
2014
•Mike and Laurie Hockenberry have announced their new business to Winfield. They will offer a full lineup of ag inputs for crop protection, fertilizer, and crop insurance from Titan Pro SCI, Inc.
•Kerry Bunnell is pleased to announce she has published her first book entitled, “A Special Murder: an April Davis Mystery.” The book is a murder mystery with a lot of humor mixed in, according to Bunnell.
•Elaina Loyd has been recognized on the Central College Dean’s List for the fall 2013 semester. She is the daughter of Keith and Susan Loyd of Winfield.
