Panther cross-country teams compete in All-American Invitational

Pekin’s cross-country teams ran in the All-American Invitational at Luther College on Saturday, Sept. 13.
Chloe Glosser won the women’s 5000-meter varsity race with a time of 18:17.7. Abby Guise finished 152nd in 23:29.1, Maddy Petrehn was 170th in 23:59.9, Harper Guise was 186th in 24:34.9, Callie Deutschle finished 194th in 24:55.6, Cambree Earnest finished 206th in 25:31.9, Zoe Heisdorffer was 213th in 26:02.0, Haven Hensley finished 220th in 27:10.5, and Reagan Wise finished 229th with a time of 31:21.9.
The top runner for the Panthers in the boys’ race was Cole Millikin, who finished 36th in 17:13.2. Next crossing the finish line for Pekin was Lane Fariss with a time of 17:36.3. Mason Dahlstrom finished 96th in 18:26.5. Brody Sobaski was 192nd in 20:58.3, Jaxon Mefford was 196th in 21:15.8, Landon Fariss was 203rd at 21:44.5, and Hayden Miller finished 213th in 22:08.0. Conor Cloyd finished 219th in 22:52.5, Clayton Harvey was 222nd in 23:19.6, Liam Guise was 227th in 24:12.0, Wyatt Brown was 230th in 25:06.8, and Colton Harvey 232nd in 26:30.7.
