Panthers compete in Fairfield’s Trojan Relays

The Pekin boys’ track team competed at Fairfield’s Trojan Relays on Tuesday, April 9.

The Panthers finished fourth with 85 points. Fairfield won 129, while Fort Madison was second with 121.5 and Van Buren was third with 101.5.

Brady McWhirter won the 1600m run in a time of 2:01.78, and JeaDon Wolver won the 400m hurdles in a time of 57.66. The 4x800 relay team of Riley Smith, Cole Millikin, Lane Fariss, and Mason Dahlstrom won with a time of 9:12.75; while the shuttle hurdle team of Kasey Davis, Robert Brown, Will Adam, and JaeDon Wolver won in 1:04.26.

Second place finishes came from Brady McWhirter in the 800m run in 2:01.78; and the 4x400 relay team of Will Adam, Brady McWhirter, Nolan Glick, and JaeDon Wolver in 3:38.02.
