Panthers face Oskaloosa in Pride Game

The Pekin girls’ basketball team faced off against Oskaloosa in the Pride Game last Friday, Nov. 18 at Oskaloosa. The Panthers trailed 17-29 at half time before a strong, 15-point third quarter got them within two. Oskaloosa turned around with a strong fourth quarter to take the win, 45-37.
Emma Phillips led the Panthers in scoring with 26 points, while Alex Parsons put up six, Brooke Miller had three, and Renae Eubanks added two.
Phillips led in rebounds also, pulling down 13. Eubanks had six rebounds, Claire Roth had five, Parsons and Abby Guise each had four, and Miller had two.
