Panthers fall to ranked Lisbon

Pekin nearly pulled off a huge upset at home, as the Panthers had the Lions in trouble, trailing just 10-7 after three quarters. Lisbon shut out Pekin for the entirety of the second half, and put the nail in the coffin with a score in the fourth quarter, winning 17-7.
Pekin’s Will Adam threw for 118 yards and ran for 74 yards and a score. Deklan Hampton caught four passes for 79 yards. Sven Dahlstrom had six carries for 13 yards and caught one pass for 21 yards. Robert Brown and Henry Adam each had nine yards receiving.
Dahlstrom had seven tackles, all solo. Henry Adam had 10.5 tackles, five solo; Jaxon Kirkbride had 6.5, four solo; Alton Williams had six with two solo; and Tanner Adrian had six, all solo.
