Winfield-Mount Union 40, Pekin 29

Pekin faced off against Winfield-Mount Union last Tuesday, Nov. 26 on the road.

The Panthers held the lead most of the game, including 15-14 at halftime and 26-21 after three quarters. WMU went on a huge run in the fourth, outscoring Pekin by 16 points to take the 40-29 win.

Pekin’s Anna Hadley led the team in scoring with 10 points. Hadley also had nine rebounds in the game. Ezra Parsons put up seven points and had three rebounds, while Paislee Coleman had four points and eight rebounds. Renae Eubanks and Carlie Gambell each put up three points, and Abby Guise put up two points while leading the team in rebounds with 17.
