In the Class 2A Region 1 tournament, Pekin came back from a 20-12 halftime deficit to beat Cardinal in overtime, winning a low-scoring extra period 4-2.

Renae Eubanks scored 11 points for the Panthers in the win along with four rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Abby Guise and Anna Hadley each put up 10 points, while Guise also had 18 rebounds. Paislee Coleman put up six points and had 14 rebounds. Ezra Parsons had five points and Maddy Petrehn had one.
