Panthers get win on road, fall at home

Pekin 65, Columbus 35
The Panthers traveled to Columbus last Tuesday, December 6 where they got a 65-35 win. Pekin led 30-15 at halftime before outscoring the Wildcats 23-8 in the final quarter.
Luke Long led the Panthers in scoring with 22 points. Jaedon Wolver and Ben Ehret each put up 13 points. Will Adam and Cade Bemis each added four; and Sven Dahlstrom, Cole Millikin, and Isaac Sylvester each put up three.
Sylvester led under the basket with eight rebounds. Long had seven rebounds and four assists, Wolver had five rebounds and three assists, and Dahlstrom pulled down three rebounds. Ehret had three steals.
E-B-F 53, Pekin 36
Pekin hosted Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Saturday. The Panthers outscored the Rockets in the first and fourth quarter, but still fell short.
