Panthers have four place in WACO Tournament

Lauderman gets a third-place finish in the 2024 SEISC Tournament
Pekin’s Reed Lauderman, 106, placed third in the SEISC Tournament on Saturday, January 27. Lauderman won the third-place match with a 6-1 decision over Landon Bell of Highland. Lauderman also had wins in the tournament over Cole Walmsley of Lone Tree and Tanner Anderson of Mediapolis.
The Panthers had four wrestlers place at the WACO Warrior Invitational last Saturday, February 3.
Reed Lauderman placed first in the 106-weight class after beating Tanner Anderson of Mediapolis with a 7-2 decision in the first place match. He also won by fall in 1:42 over Parker English of Mid-Prairie in the quarterfinal match and won with a 9-6 decision in the semifinal match over Mt. Pleasant’s Landon Beckler.
At 126, Pekin’s Zachary Doud placed fourth. Doud got a win in the quarterfinal match by fall over Mid-Prairie’s Dalton Miller, before losing to John McLaughlin of WACO in the third-place match.
Gannon Greier, 132, placed fifth with a win in the fifth-place match by fall in 1:30 over Charlie Bohnenkamp of Mt. Pleasant.
Brantyn Sieren, 285, placed sixth. His wins for the day included a win by fall in 1:08 over Andrew Schweibert of Springville, and a win by fall in 0:42 over Kyler Rugg of WACO.
