Panthers host Jerry Horton Relays

The Pekin girls’ track team hosted the Jerry Horton Relays April 11, where they won with 134 points.

The Panthers had wins in the 4x400m relay, the 4x800m relay, and the distance medley. Kayse Miller won the high jump with a jump of 5-02.

Second place finishes came from Audrey Fariss in the 200m dash in 29.54, Lauren Steigleder in the 1500m run in 6:22.22, and Reece Brisby in the 100m hurdles in 18.24. Anna Hadley finished second in the shot put with a throw of 37-03.50 and Abby Guise took second in the high jump with a jump of 4-06.
