Panthers host Panther Relays

The Panthers hosted the Panther Relays on Monday, April 15, where they finished second in the team points with 171. Davis County won with 181 and Albia was third with 142.

Brady McWhirter won the 1600m run in a time of 4:56.81, while Kasey Davis won the 110m hurdles in 17.11, and Will Adam won the long jump with a jump of 19011.25.

Pekin won five relays, taking the 4x100 in 45.94, the 4x200 in 1:36.32, the sprint medley in 1:42.50, the distance medley in 4:08.15, and the shuttle hurdle relay in 1:04.57.

Second place finishes came in the 800m run with Brady McWhirter finishing in 2:22.49, Riley Smith in the 400m hurdles in 1:03.41, and Alijah Brock in the long jump with a jump of 17-04. The 4x400 relay team placed second in 3:41.26 and the 4x800 team took second with a time of 9:20.10.
