Pekin 37, Louisa-Muscatine 49
After a strong first half Pekin held a 33-20 led going into halftime but scored just four points in the final two quarters as L&M stormed back to steal the victory.
Renae Eubanks led the Panthers in scoring with 12 points, all from behind the three-point line. Abby Guise had seven points in the game, while Maddy Petrehn, Ezra Parsons and Anna Hadley each put up six.
Guise led in rebounds with 13, Eubanks had six, and Paislee Colemen and Hadley each had five.
Friday, Jan. 24
Pekin 26, Lone Tree 62
The Panthers couldn’t get a shot to drop last Friday against Lone Tree, trailing at halftime 9-31 and losing 26-62.
Abby Guise was the top scorer for Pekin, sinking 11. Guise also had eight rebounds and three assists in the game. Maddy Petrehn put up five points, and Renae Eubanks and Paislee Coleman each had three.
Coleman pulled down seven rebounds in the game, and Eubanks had six.
