Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club hold Jan. meeting

The Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club met Jan. 8, 2025 at Prairie View Church. The meeting was called to order by President Cole Millikin. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Audrey Molkenthin, Michelle Jacobs and Maci Crow. Roll call was answered by 22 members. Secretary Madison Fry did not read the minutes. The treasurer’s report was given by John Jacobs. Business discussed was Market Beef weigh in. Cole Millikin, Michelle Jacobs, Madison Fry, John Jacobs, Sawyer Cason, Stephen Jacobs and Lane Cason weighed in market beef on December 7. 4-H scholarships are due March 1. The 4-H Valentine’s Day pasta fundraising supper will be held on Feb. 14 at the Keokuk County Expo Hall. The club voted to give funds toward the supper. The club programs were handed out, YQCA testing codes were handed out, county council report was given by Teagan Swearingen and Madison Fry. The next meeting will be Feb. 12, 2025. Teagan Swearingen moved to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Colt Reed. The 4-H Creed was led by Colten Voyles, Cole Millikin and Ethen Echelberry. The club activity was the Holiday White Elephant Bingo party and gift exchange. Refreshments were served by Cole Millikin and Sharon Fritchen
