Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club hold meeting

The Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club met on Dec. 10, 2025 at Prairie View Church starting with a family potluck supper. Twenty five members and their families were in attendance. Carley Clarahan installed the 2025 — 2026 club officers. President — Colt Reed; Vice President — Madison Fry; Secretary — Cole Millikin; Treasurer — Maci Crow; Reporter- Sam Loper and Parliamentarian — Sawyer Cason.
Club leader Sharon Fritchen welcomed new members, Jameson Baumberger, Korbyn Cason, Arrik Echelberry, Emileigh Ferrell, Samantha Jacobs, Koban Lowenberg, and Weston Stoneking. Also recognized were the three nine-year senior members Cole Millikin, Colt Reed and Teagan Swearingen.
First year members receiving their 4-H certificate of years and year seal were Kopelan Lowenberg, Audrey Molkenthin and Savannah Travis.
Members receiving record book project awards and 2025 year seal at Awards Rally were: Sawyer Cason, Lane Cason, Carley Clarahan, Maci Crow, Eleanora Ferrell, Madison Fry, Sam Loper, Joshua Martin, Cole Millikin, Audrey Molkenthin, Colt Reed, Teagan Swearingen Colten Voyles, Levi Voyles. Those receiving their 2025 year seal were Erica Clubb, Ethen Echelberry, Izaak Echelberry, Gambel Fry, Caden Gorsh, Michelle Jacobs, John Jacobs, Stephen Jacobs, Samantha Jacobs
The 2025 Outstanding Senior Award and Senior Leadership Award was presented to Carley Clarahan. The 2025 Ak-Sar-Ben award, the 2025 Danforth “I Dare You” Award and 2025 Citizenship Award was presented to Cole Millikin. The 2025 Swine Herdsmanship was presented to Teagan Swearingen. The Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club received the third place Communications award presented by the Keokuk County Farm Bureau.
Business discussed was the Keokuk County Expo 4-H/FFA Fair dates are July 13-18 2026, YQCA testing codes, Beef entry in 4-H online by Jan. 31, 2025
The next meeting will be Jan. 14, 2026 at Prairie View Church.
