Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club holds meeting

The Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club met on Dec. 11, 2024 at Prairie View Church starting with a family potluck supper. 4-H members and their families were in attendance. Colt Reed installed the 2024 — 2025 club officers. President — Cole Millikin; Vice President — Michelle Jacobs; Secretary — Madison Fry; Treasurer — John Jacobs; Reporter- Carley Clarahan and Parliamentarian — Teagan Swearingen.
Club leader Sharon Fritchen welcomed first year 4-H members, Audrey Molkenthin, Kopelan Lowenberg and Savannah Travis with the help of the Junior Members, Colt Reed, Cole Millikin and Teagan Swearingen.
Members receiving record book project awards and year seals at Awards Rally were: Lane Cason, Sawyer Cason, Maci Crow, Eleanora Ferrell, Sam Loper, Joshua Martin, Cole Millikin, Haylea Oostra, Colt Reed, Lexi Swearingen, Teagan Swearingen, Colten Voyles and Levi Voyles. Receiving their year seals were Carley Clarahan, Bentley Clark, Erica Clubb, Ethen Echelberry, Izaak Echelberry, Caden Gorsh, John Jacobs, Michelle Jacobs, Nicole Jacobs, Stephen Jacobs, Kylee Kier and Bo Latcham.
The First Year Member Certificates were presented to Levi Voyles, Caden Gorsh, Nicole Jacobs, Lane Cason and Joshua Martin. The outstanding First Year Member award was presented to Levi Voyles. The Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club received the second place 2024 Communications award presented by the Keokuk County Farm Bureau.
Business discussed was the Keokuk County Expo 4-H/FFA Fair dates are July 24-30, 2025; swine weigh in date of March 29, 2025, Club Painting Workshop and YQCA testing.
The next meeting will be Jan. 8, 2025 at 7 p.m. at Prairie View Church.
