Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club holds two meetings

The Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club met on Feb. 7, 2024 at Prairie View Church. President Lexi Swearingen called the meeting to order. Lane Cason and Teagan Swearingen led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call was answered by 20 members. Secretary Teagan Swearingen read the minutes of the last meeting. The Treasurer’s report was given by Bo Latcham. Business: County 4-H in Friday March 1, 2024. YQCA Fees. YQCA Livestock test. Club quilt block image. Expo fair book drawing contest. Intermediate trip to Omaha, Nebraska for 7th and 8th grade members. Bucket Bottle calf and lambs. The club will pay $10 in lock in fees. Swine weigh in. Sheep and goat weigh in. New 4-H Youth Coordinator. New poultry judge and check-in time for the rabbits. The meeting was adjourned by Carley Clarahan and seconded by Colt Reed. Lexi Swearingen led the 4-H Creed. The next meeting will be March 6, 2024. Activities were led by Iris Steinhar and Sharon Fritchen. The refreshments were served by Cole Millikin and Sharon Fritchen.

Caden Gorsh, Sawyer Cason and Ella Bruns led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call was answered by 20 members. Secretary Teagan Swearingen read the minutes of the last meeting. The Treasure’s report was given by Bo Latcham. Business: 4-H lock in. Quilt Blockdesign from our club, thank you Izaak Echelberry. YQCA Livestock Tests. Swine Weigh in. 4-H clothing event workshop. 4-H member attendance. 4th-6th grade overnight camp. Bucket bottle calf and lambs. Sheep and goat weigh in. Dog obedience. Livestock and pet identification- May 15 deadline. County Council Report was given by Haylea, Lexi and Carley. The meeting was adjourned by Carley Clarahn and seconded by Teagan Swearingen. Haylea Oostra, John Jacobs and Stephen Jabobs led the 4-H Creed. The next meeting will be April 10, 2024. Activities were led by Ella Bruns, Lexi Swearingen, Michelle Jabobs, Colten and Levi Voyles. The refreshments were served by Colt Reed and Lexi and Teagan Swearingen
