Patriotic Panthers 4-H club meets

The Patriotic Panthers 4-H club met June 8,2022 at the PVUMC. The meeting was called to order by President Taylor Gambell. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Michelle Jacobs and John Jacobs. Roll call was answered by 17 members and 1 leader. Secretary Greta Moore read the minutes of the May meeting. The treasurer’s report was given by Carley Clarahan. Business discussed was Fair Entry deadline of July 1, State Fair deadline entry by July 1, 4-H Clothing Event and Keokuk County Expo Fair July 10 - 17. Club exhibit project judging will be July 11 at 10:30 am, July 12 is the Pet Show at 11 and Communications at 1:30 pm, July 13 is the Dog Show at 1:00 pm; July 14 is the Sheep show at 8 am; Meat Goat show at 10:00 am, Clothing Style show at 5:30 pm, Talent Show at 6 pm with the Queen Contest to follow and the 4-H flower planter auction. July 15 is the Swine show at 8 am, Bucket lamb and calf show at 4 pm. July 16 is the Beef show at 8 am and July 17 is clean up. The next meeting will be September 14. Conner Reed moved to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Lexi Swearingen. The 4-H Creed was led by Greta Moore, Ethen Echelberry and Colt Reed. The activities were led by Greta Moore, Emma Moore, Michelle Jacobs, John Jacobs and Taylor Gambell. Refreshments were served by Carley Clarahan and Michelle and John Jacobs.
