Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club meets

The Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club met Jan. 11, 2023 at the PVMC. The meeting was called to order by President Kendyl Noel. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Kendyl Noel, Madison Fry and Ella Bruns. Roll call was answered by 22 members. Secretary Carley Clarahan did not read the minutes. The treasurer’s report was given by Cole Millikin. Business discussed was Market Beef weigh in. Kylee Reed, Cole Millikin, Michelle Jacobs, Madison Fry, John Jacobs, Erica Clubb, Sawyer Cason and Stephen Jacobs weighed in market beef on December 10. 4-H scholarships are due March 1, butter braid fundraising will start January 30. The club will have a barn quilt painting workshop March 18, 2023, club programs were handed out, YQCA testing codes were handed out, county council report was given, and Senior spotlight on Kendyl Noel was in the January/February newsletter. The next meeting will be Feb. 8, 2023. Carley Clarahan moved to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Michelle Jacobs. The 4-H Creed was led by Lexi Swearingen, John Jacobs and Ethen Echelberry. The club activity was the Holiday Bingo party and gift exchange. Refreshments were served by Cole Millikin and Sharon Fritchen
