Patriotic Panthers 4-H meets

The Patriotic Panthers 4-H Club met Sept. 14, 2022 at the PVUMC. The meeting was called to order by Vice President Kendyl Noel. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Haylea Oostra and John Jacobs. Roll call was answered by 16 members, 1 new member guest and 1 leader. No minutes were read. The treasurer’s report was given by Carley Clarahan. Business discussed was to purchase new member record books, congratulations to state fair exhibitors, National 4-H week is Oct. 2-8 and activities, nominate a farmer for safety harvest bags, 4-H re-enrollment and new 4-H member invites, The next meeting will be October 12. Carley Clarahan moved to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Lexi Swearingen. The 4-H Creed was led by Izaak Echelberry and Carley Clarahan. The club worked on 4-H thank you notes for the Keokuk County Expo Fair sponsors. The activities were led by Sam Loper and Iris Steinhart. Refreshments were served by Lexi and Teagan Swearingen.
