Please remember that supplies need to be replenished often through the school year. What you buy at the beginning of the school year doesn’t last all year.

Kindergarten Supply List

The following supplies will be shared as a class and DO NOT need to be labeled.

24 Elmer’s Small Glue Sticks

1 Package of Dry Erase Black Markers (Black ONLY)

3 Large Boxes of Kleenex

5 Boxes of 24 Count Crayola Crayons

2 Container of Clorox Wipes

Girls bring in 1 box of gallon Ziploc bags

Boys bring in 1 box of quart Ziploc bags

1 Set of Headphones for Computers-Labeled and Placed in a Labeled Ziploc Bag NO EARBUDS

1 Pair of Gym Shoes (VELCRO)

1 Beach Towel (For Health Reasons — Please Bring in a Labeled Plastic bag at the Open House Night)

First Grade Supplies

Your child will only need the following items for the beginning of the school year

Backpack for carrying papers home, NO WHEELS PLEASE

Pencil Box, easy to open

1 Box of pencils (24 count Ticonderoga or Papermate-pre sharpened)

PE Shoes-Preferable tie or Velcro: NO SLIP ONS

Third Grade Supplies

Extra supplies in paper, pencils, and folders will be stored in the classrooms and given out periodically during the school year.

Kleenex — 200 count box.

Tennis shoes for P.E.

Velcro or tie only, please no platform shoes.

Tote bag, Please none with rollers for pulling on ground as it won't fit in the locker

36 UNSHARPENED YELLOW PENCILS (TICONDEROGA BRAND IS BEST)

Please do not bring pens or mechanical pencils! We will not use them all year!

*pencils will be stored in the classroom and given out each week.

TWO 70 sheet spiral notebooks — only the widest spaced paper please.

FOUR Folders (Thicker folders with lamination are more durable) *NO TRAPPER KEEPERS!!!

Two large size pencil bags to hold all the additional items needed in the list below without overstretching the bags.

*plastic bags with plastic zippers do not last very long.

*NO PENCIL BOXES as they take up too much room.

One small package of pencil top eraser replacements.

Your child will only need the following items for the beginning of the school year.

Please make sure your child’s name is on everything except pencils and erasers!

** Note to Parents: No backpacks will be allowed in the classrooms. All JH students will be responsible for keeping all their supplies in their school issued locker. The school will provide combination locks to any student that requests one in the JH office. No outside locks will be allowed.
