Pekin art students compete in SEISC Art Show

Alex Harbison received a second place finish with her watercolor/tempera painting, Fishy.
Graci Coble's oil/acrylic painting, Caterpillar, received a first place finish.
Lili Miller placed third with her sculpture, White Rats.

Pekin art students took part in the 2023-2024 Southeast Iowa Super Conference Art Show held at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington in April.

Pekin results were:

Graci Coble: First Place, Painting‐Oil/Acrylic Caterpillar

Alex Harbison: First Place, Judges Category Dark Mansion; Second Place, Painting‐Watercolor/Tempera Fishy

Hayden Miller: Second Place, Ceramics Papa and Missy; Honorable Mention, Judges Category Trash King

Drake Thomas: First Place, Sculpture Penguin

Wyatt Brown: Second Place, Sculpture Pirate Buddy

Lila Miller: Third Place, Sculpture White Rats; Third Place, Judges Category Under the Sea
