Pekin boys’ team has three wins in the week

Pekin 72, EBF 53
The Panthers started last week off strong, getting a 72-53 win over Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont at home. Pekin trailed by one at the end of the first quarter before scoring 23 in each of the next two quarters to dominate the game.
Nolan Glick put up 21 points in the game to lead the Panthers while Cole Millikin had a strong game putting up 16 points. Will Adam and Henry Adam each had eight points, Alijah Brock added seven and Riley Smith had six. Kasey Davis had four and Mason Dahlstrom had two.
Glick led in rebounds also with eight. Davis pulled down six rebounds and had four assists. Henry Adam had six assists and three rebounds, while Will Adam had three rebounds and four steals. Millikin had five rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Brock had four rebounds.
Tuesday, Jan. 21
Pekin 67, Louisa-Muscatine 45
The Panthers had back-to-back wins, taking a 67-45 win over Louisa-Muscatine last Tuesday. Pekin had a strong start to the game and never looked back.
Henry Adam put up 17 points in the game including nine from behind the three-point line, he also had eight assists and seven steals. Will Adam and Cole Millikin each had 14 point and three assists. Nolan Glick put up 12 points and pulled down six rebounds. Alijah Brock added five points, while Riley Smith had three and Kasey Davis two. Davis had six rebounds and four steals for the night.
Friday, Jan. 24
Pekin 61, Lone Tree 50
Pekin got their third win in as many games last week with their 61-50 win over Lone Tree on Friday.
The Panthers had five players score in the double digits with Kasey Davis and Nolan Glick each scoring 14, and Cole Millikin, Will Adam, and Riley Smith each putting up 10.
Henry Adam had 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Davis and Will Adam each had eight rebounds, while Davis had three assists and Will Adam had four steals. Millikin had three each of rebounds, assists, and steals.
