Pekin FFA attends district convention
Members of Pekin’s FFA took part in the FFA district convention held at Muscatine High School on Saturday, March 4.
Lilian Buie will be advancing to the state competition in Public Speaking. Also competing at districts were Emma Phillips in Job Interview; Ryan Doud and Broc Latcham in Farm Business Management; and Hailey Pedrick in Extemporaneous Speaking. Erica Hoy and Alyvia Traner were voting delegates representing Pekin FFA.
The state competition is scheduled for later in April in Ames.
