Pekin FFA represented at Iowa State Fair
The FFA Carcass Value Swine show was held on Thursday, August 8, at the 2024 Iowa State Fair. 40 pigs were shown by 33 FFA exhibitors in the show.
Jackson Mehman of Plainfield, a member of the Nashua-Plainfield FFA, won the Champion award in the Live Show competition. Packwood's Kylie Bohrn of the Pekin FFA claimed Reserve Champion honors.
The Carcass Group of Four Champion title was won by Derek Bohrn of Packwood. He is a member of the Pekin FFA.
Nadeen Noel of West Peosta, a member of the West Dubuque FFA, won the Champion award in the Carcass competition. Derek Bohrn of Pekin FFA earned Reserve Champion honors.
Top honors were awarded Thursday, August 8, in the FFA Carcass Lamb show at the 2024 Iowa State Fair.
Sutton Paulsen of Cedar Falls, a member of the Hudson FFA, won Champion honors. Pekin FFA's Hailey Pedrick of Ollie earned the Reserve Champion award.
