Pekin gets win over L&M at home

Pekin and L&M faced off in volleyball at Pekin last Tuesday, September 13. The games were part of a SEISC series of games to show support to Assistant Director of the IGHSAU, Lisa Brinkmeyer, in her battle against brain cancer.
Pekin won 3-1 in four sets, 25-10, 18-25, 25-11, 25-17. Kylie Fitzsimmons had 10 kills, while Kayse Miller had five and Emma Phillips finished with four. Alex Parsons and Quinnlyn Baker each finished the night with eight digs, and Claire Roth had seven. Roth was 28 of 28 serving with eight aces; Quinnlyn Baker was 14 of 14 with four aces; Alex Parsons went 11 of 13 with an ace; Kayse Miller was 9 of 10 with an ace; and Kendyl Noel was 7 of 8 with 3 aces.
