In the spotlight is Pekin graduate Renae Eubanks. She is the daughter of Jason and Becky Eubanks. She has two siblings, Sarah and Henry.
While in high school, Renae was involved in cross country, basketball, track, Spanish club, Ruritan Rising Seniors, Legacy, National Honor Society, and FCA. She has also worked at Walkers, Benchwarmers, and Pekin Day Care.
What's your favorite school memory/OR what will you remember the most? Participating in sports at state and homecoming week.
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? I would have taken high school in better.
Finish this sentence, “I could not live without…” My friends and family.
What's the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? Best- being a leader to others. Worst- everything being your last.
Which teacher or staff member had the biggest impact on you and why? Mr. Weber- He pushes me to be the best version of myself that I can be.
What’s your advice to incoming high school freshmen? Take it all in, focus on the present and not the future.
What are your plans after graduation? Go to college for elementary education, undecided as to where.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? Sky diving.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? Bora Bora, it is warm and pretty.
Who has been your biggest influence and why? My parents, they encourage me, support me, and help me whenever I need it.
