Pekin happenings
Pekin’s Greenhouse Management classes planted 1,500 onion seeds for a producer on January 31.
Courtney Burkhalter, Jefferson County Extension Program Coordinator, visited Pekin February 3 to teach the Greenhouse classes about plant propagation and the Exploratory and Animal Science classes about chicken production. It was a great opportunity for the students to learn about the role ISU Extension plays in educating the community.
