Pekin Kindergarten roundup

All parents with children who will be five years old by Sept. 15, 2025, and are interested in attending kindergarten at Pekin Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year are invited to attend Kindergarten roundup on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria. During this event, you will learn about kindergarten expectations, PowerSchool, and fill out the required paperwork.

Current Pekin Preschool students will visit the kindergarten classrooms at the beginning of May to prepare for the upcoming school year.

If your child is not currently enrolled in Pekin Preschool but plans to attend kindergarten at Pekin Elementary in the fall, we encourage you to participate in our classroom visit day. Please contact the Pekin Elementary office at 319-695-3707 for more details.
