What’s your favorite school memory/OR what will you remember the most: My favorite school memory would have to be State Track or State XC throughout the years. The moments I’ve shared with my teammates will definitely be hard to forget!
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be: If I could go back and change one thing, I wouldn’t. I’m thankful for every moment I’ve had and happy with where it’s gotten me.
Finish this sentence: “I could not live without…” I could not live without my faith or my family, both keep me grounded and grateful.
What’s the best and/or worst thing about being a senior: The best thing about being a senior is the impact you are able to make on those younger than you. The opportunity to be a leader and leave a positive impact is something that I’ve learned to be very appreciative of this year. The worst thing would be knowing that you’ll have to say goodbye to those you grew up with, as well as the younger friends you’ll leave behind.
Which teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on you and why: The teacher who has had the biggest impact on me would be Davis Eidahl. This is because of his dedication to teaching, coaching, and his kindness to my family.
Advice to incoming high school freshmen: My advice to incoming freshmen would be to cherish the moments you get, be thankful, PARTICIPATE, and put kindness as your top priority. Being kind to everyone and choosing to make mature decisions, even when it makes you seem “uncool,” is something I promise you won’t regret.
What are your plans after graduation: My plans after graduation include attending Indian Hills Community College to complete my prerequisites and then transferring to a four-year university.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime: One outrageous thing I’d like to try in my lifetime is to visit every continent.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go AND why: If I could move anywhere in the world, I’d move to somewhere tropical, near an ocean because we definitely don’t get that in Iowa!
Who has been your biggest influence AND why: My biggest influence has been my older siblings because they inspire me to accomplish more and fill their shoes in the best way possible.
