Pekin senior Austin Siegfried

Austin Siegfried is a graduate in the spotlight. He is the son of Melissa Siegfried and Robin Siegfried. His siblings are Cole and Morgan Siegfried.

While in school he also worked at Walmart as a sporting goods team associate.

What's your favorite school memory/OR what will you remember the most? Making the paper dinosaurs in second grade.

If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? Probably talk to more people.

What's the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? Last year of school, and last year of school.

Which teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on you and why? My Kindergarten teacher. She taught me how to write effectively.

Advice to incoming high school freshmen: If you use ChatGPT for assignments delete all of the punctuation so it doesn’t get flagged by AI detector.

What are your plans after graduation? Reapply to my old job.

What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? Sky diving.

If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go AND why? I don’t want to leave Iowa.
