Brooke Sylvester is a senior in the spotlight. She is the daughter of Debbie Sylvester and Brad Sylvester. Her siblings are Taylor, Sydney, and Alyssa.
She was involved in FBLA and a Ruritan Rising Senior while in school. She also works at Godfrey’s in Ottumwa.
What's your favorite school memory/OR what will you remember the most? Hogans leadership class in eighth grade.
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? I would try and get here on time.
Finish this sentence, “I could not live without…” My dogs and cat.
What's the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? You get to graduate at the end of the year, but you actually have to do stuff.
Which teacher or staff member had the biggest impact on you and why? Mr. Weber, he has always pushed me to be my best.
What’s your advice to incoming high school freshmen? Get your work turned in.
What are your plans after graduation? Go to PCI Academy in Ames.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? Skydiving.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? Cabo, Mexico.
Who has been your biggest influence and why? My mom and dad because they are hard workers.
