Cheryl Wise is a graduate in the spotlight. She is the niece of Nick VanBuskirk and Angel Peterson. Her siblings are Gavin VanBuskirk and Sophia VanBuskirk.
While in school Cheryl was involved in girls wrestling and volleyball.
What's your favorite school memory/OR what will you remember the most? My favorite high school memory is probably supporting the girls at volleyball games and supporting the girls at wrestling matches.
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? One thing I would go back and change is probably not getting out of my comfort zone and not getting to know more people
Finish this sentence: "I could not live without..." I could not live without my family.
What's the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? The best thing about being a senior is probably graduating high school and learning how to be independent on your own and living by yourself. I think the worst thing about being a senior is probably leaving your friends that are underclassmen and also leaving the friends you have that are graduating with you.
Advice to incoming high school freshmen: My advice to incoming freshmen is to be kind to everyone, focus on your classes and on your grades, also be more involved and try new and different things.
What are your plans after graduation? My plan after high school is to attend Eastern Iowa Community College and get into the vet tech program then apply to vet school at Iowa State.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? Bull riding.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go AND why? If I could move anywhere it would be Colorado because it’s a pretty state and I like the scenery.
Who has been your biggest influence AND why? My classmates, my family.
