Pekin senior JaeDon Wolver

This week’s Pekin graduate is JaeDon Wolver. He is the son of Jody Wolver Foster, Kirk Foster, and Don Hickombottom. His siblings are Krew Foster and Tory Wolver.
While JaeDon was in school, he was involved in Cross Country, Basketball, Track and Field, Baseball, NHS, High School TAG, FBLA, and was a Senior Rising Ruritans. He also worked as a cleaner at the Hedrick Community Center and a baseball instructor at “The Barn.”
What's your favorite school memory/OR what will you remember the most? The Iowa State Indoor Track Meet Junior Year.
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? Take less AP classes and more college classes.
Finish this sentence: "I could not live without..." Tetris to get me through class.
What's the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? Not having a lot of classes and work to do.
Which teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on you and why? Mrs. Bates, because she always helped out on my AP classes and pushed me to take harder courses.
Advice to incoming high school freshmen: Get all of your credits out of the way as soon as possible, so in your Junior and Senior year you can load up on college classes.
What are your plans after graduation? Attend the University of Iowa, major in Finance on a Pre-Med Track.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? Skydiving.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go AND why? Chicago.
Who has been your biggest influence AND why? My mom, because she's always pushed me to be better than I am, and never allowed me to be less than the best I can be.
