Pekin senior JT Spray

In the spotlight this week is John (JT) Spray. He is the son of Kim Chittick and the late Matt Spray. He has two siblings, Skylar and Brogan.
While in school JT was involved in Band, Choir, Cross Country, Track, Basketball, and Drama. He also held jobs as a farm hand and lawncare specialist.
What’s your favorite school memory/OR what will you remember the most: The teachers all had an impact on my life, they helped shape me the way I am today.
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be: To be a better person in the classroom.
Finish this sentence: “I could not live without…” My family and friends.
What’s the best and/or worst thing about being a senior: The pressure of passing the classes that you need to pass and if you don’t pass them you have to retake them and have the possibility of not graduating with the people you’ve grown up with.
Which teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on you and why: Ms. Graf.
Advice to incoming high school freshmen: Turn your work in.
What are your plans after graduation: Working on a ground crew somewhere.
Who has been your biggest influence AND why: My grandma, she’s helped make me the way I am today.
